PCI Compliance - Level 1 Service Provider
TSD Attains Level 1 Service Provider Status with Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards (DSS).
Successful Independent Audit Ensures Highest Level of Security Compliance for TSD Customers
North Andover, MA, February, 2009 -
TSD (www.tsd-inc.com), the #1 provider of car rental software and loaner management software for more than 25 years, is pleased to announce certification of full compliance with the PCI Data Security Standard as a Level 1 Service Provider. The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) requires all merchants involved in the capture, storage and processing of credit card transactions engage certified auditors to perform audits of security controls. The audit entails external vulnerability scans of the network, verification that all card holder data and password data are encrypted, and ensuring that Secure Socket Layer (SSL) security is employed for access to, and transmission of, all cardholder data.
TSD has worked with Coalfire Systems, Inc, a Qualified Security Assessor Company (QSAC) for PCI -DSS compliance validation. Coalfire conducted testing of TSD’s entire network infrastructure and controls in accordance with Level 1 Service Provider Audit Procedures to validate compliance with the PCI Data Security Standard. Testing of the 12 requirements was completed during the period from November 16, 2008 to December 26, 2008 and full compliance has been certified.

Considering that our network captures, transfers, and stores information on more than 6 million credit card transactions per year, this is a significant certification,” states Charles Grieco, CEO of TSD.
