New Release - TSD RENTAL.NET Version 2.16

North Andover, MA (February, 2009) —TSD (www.tsd-inc.com), the #1 provider of car rental software and loaner management software for more than 25 years, has just released version 2.16 of TSD RENTAL.NET Management Software. New features allow airport rental operations, dealership and insurance replacement rental companies, and long-term corporate rental operations to further streamline their processes.

For busy airport operators, parking lot returns have never been easier. Using TSD RENTAL.NET’s redesigned handheld return module, users have a variety of agreement lookup options, automated credit card payment and processing functionality, and barcode scanning capabilities making this module a “must-have” in today’s technological environment.

TSD RENTAL.NET version 2.16 also allows rental companies to track all revenue with easy-to-use multi-level Source, Referral Agency, and Referral Agent reporting.

TSD RENTAL.NET customers have new tools to bring Accounts Receivable under control. For each rental customer, receivables for past agreements can be displayed and future rentals blocked - based on the user’s software permissions. For corporate accounts, a credit limit setting can restrict new rentals with overrides being access restricted and tracked automatically for future review.

Insurance replacement and corporate rental operators will save time with the added ability to disburse “lump sum” checks to the appropriate AR agreements using the new “Batch Payment” tool. A detailed multicompany insurance replacement report (dealer report) has also been added for a closer look at insurance replacement business performance.

Additional new management controls in TSD RENTAL.NET include the option to require the assignment of specific vehicles on reservations, particularly valuable for specialty rentals, and the ability to print rental agreements ahead of time (access restricted) to help customers who deliver vehicles.

Finally, all users can take advantage of self-paced learning with TSD’s online tutorials, available directly from the TSD RENTAL.NET Help menu. These tutorials make it easy and fun to learn more about the software. Available lessons now cover several key components of rental rate setup, as well as Daily Business Reporting and Credit Card processing. Additional tutorials will continue to be made available with future releases.
