TSD Introduces TSD RENTAL
Management Software Version 4.1.5
Major update focuses on security enhancements

(Massachusetts, 1-1-06)—TSD, the leaders in rental management technology and software, recently released the newest version of TSD RENTAL Management Software to all customers. With heightened risk of identity theft and the recent natural disasters, TSD has focused TSD RENTAL Management Software Version 4.1.5 around security, as well as incorporating the features and enhancements that customers have requested to make TSD RENTAL Management Software the most comprehensive and easiest to use software on the market.

TSD has added an all-new Employee Security structure to increase administrator control over employee functionality. Credit card encryption protection was also added to protect rental companies from the fines they face should credit card information be stolen from their system. Users accessing TSD RENTAL Management Software over the Internet benefit from TSD’s secure data center, which protects servers behind firewalls. The data center is protected from natural disasters and power outages, and offers complete redundancy for the data stored.

Other features added to TSD RENTAL Management Software make the #1 rental system even easier to use. New reports and report enhancements give managers a more comprehensive overview of their business, and Version 4.1.5 also offers better high-level viewership of all single and multi-location companies. TSD also added functionality to the popular Unit Calendar, which allows users to view a “virtual whiteboard” of their reservations, units, and contracts.

TSD RENTAL Management Software’s rate features have been further enhanced as well, with added features on the Rate Shopper and Corporate Hub Rate enhancements. Dozens of other enhancements and new features are available in Version 4.1.5.

Customers with TSD RENTAL Version 4.1.5 will also have the ability to utilize new, optional interfaces. TSD has added a Prepaid Credit Card/Debit Card Check Module, which automatically checks for cards that might cause a problem with payment. An interface with the Highway Toll Administration’s Transponder Rental program is also available. Finally, TSD has added a new accounting package to its many accounting interfaces. Users with Great Plains accounting software may now interface it to their TSD RENTAL Management Software to eliminate double-entry, speed up invoicing, and reduce the risk of error.
